Welcome to the University of Oxford's Centre for Early Modern Studies (CEMS). Founded in 2004, CEMS is now host to the largest, most vibrant early modern scholarly community in the world.

The CEMS website is a central hub for anyone interested in the great range of seminars, conferences, and research projects taking place at Oxford.
