I’m interested in the reception of Shakespeare - in print, in criticism and in performance - and in our scholarly investments in certain kinds of interpretation. I’m currently working on matters Shakespeare First Folio, for the 400th anniversary in 2023. My books The Making of Shakespeare’s First Folio and Shakespeare’s First Folio: Four Centuries of an Iconic Book will both have second editions in 2023. I’m also thinking about dramatic collaboration, with Laurie Maguire, and editing Twelfth Night and Thomas Nashe’s Summer’s Last Will and Testament.
